Chiron Stations Retrograde - Friday, July 16, 2021

Do you need healing or teaching? Today, Chiron, the Wounded Healer and Teacher, stations retrograde at 12:41 pm ET.

Chiron joins Jupiter, Saturn, and Neptune, which are retrograde (moving backwards), and are “revising” or “rewriting” the past, each in its own way.

Chiron is revising the themes that began and developed since December 16, 2020.

Chiron is the archetype of the “Renaissance man.” He is well-rounded. But, he is a doctor and a warrior. And an inventor, alchemist, and scientist, among others.

Biological weapons are anathema to Chiron.

Chiron is stationing retrograde at 13 Aries, “a bomb which failed to explode is now safely concealed.” Taken in context with the theme for this astrological year, “a woman in pastel colors carrying a heavy and valuable but veiled load” (the energetic that is designed to reveal what has been hidden from us), I would say the “bomb” that is now “safely concealed” is going to “go off” when Chiron stations direct by the eve of the Solstice, December 20, 2021.

Interestingly, Venus will station retrograde while Chiron stations direct on December 20. It is somewhat rare that two planets will station on the same day. We see this now with the Venus-Chiron theme of money with cryptos being incentivized to turn against our fellow man.

As Chiron stations retrograde today, it is 13 Water in the Mayan sacred calendar. This is the highest level of emotionality. It translates to “ascension of emotions,” meaning it changes emotions to something else. Water transforms what it touches. During the New Moon in Cancer, emotions are heightened because Cancer is ruled by the Moon (our emotions, the mother).

Unless you have been studying the cycles for a while, it is hard to overstate the change that happens between two Crescent cycles (like this year, the past two months) and the First Quarter cycle. Can you tell the difference? Limbo and waiting around “on pause” have been supplanted by rapid, raw action.

This is a situation for Chiron’s energies to tackle. First off, we are traumatized. We are under systematic assault on every front. People are facing choices with their jobs and families, and baseline mental health has changed because of it. People are grieving.

Chiron to the rescue. Which is another way to say, astrologically, Christ to the rescue. Chiron “rules” the Christ story and all of its associated parts.

The story of Chiron is self sacrifice to a Greater Cause.

If there ever was a time when the spiritual warriors of THE HEROES were needed, it is now.

Really, it is not about us as individuals. It is about how well we can stand together IN FREQUENCY.
