Hello Wise Owl —

The one thing about starting a journey by water in a canoe with 04 Capricorn, is that the first day of the trip we have 05 Capricorn — “Indians - some rowing a canoe and others dancing a war dance in it.”

And, with this comes the Sun at 05 Cancer, “at a railroad crossing, an automobile is wrecked by a train.”

The wisdom is if you start out on a special journey, there are often things we have to get around. This is like a Crescent cycle - the second one of two that we are completing. We face challenges and must maintain perseverance in order to cross. This imbues the journey with meaning and value. The journey is worthwhile.

The point with this is that the “challenges” or “obstacles” are no big deal. We go another way. And we realize that it needed to be that way to fulfill other objectives.

We approach the “railroad crossing” not going full speed. It is a crossing. Four corners come together and where we will pick, that’s is up to us. Maybe we go the long way around and see something of interest. But we do not go up against the train. The train this going that way, we are going another way. This is true for the remainder of this cycle.

There is one more piece of wisdom that comes from Venus today. When at a crossing, avoid comparisons. Trying to separate people, places, and things - from the position of the middle - is futile. All roads have their advantages. That’s when you have to listen to the muse. This comes today with Venus discharging “a Greek muse weighing newborn twins in golden scales.” All new beginnings are full of potential.
