"After a heavy storm, a rainbow."  The planets combine today to deliver signs and messages that reassure us of better times.  Light returns to infuse our lives with rich color and blessings, as Venus moves to this degree in the sky.

The question today is whether we are mentally still in the heavy storm or out into the light of the rainbow or vacillating between.

Given that the Moon is in Pisces opposing the Black Moon and the Sun is making exact opposition with Pluto today, stormy weather may roll our way at times.  The combination of these aspects increases potential for projection our own and others' shadow sides today.  The "Catalysts for Change" list gives detail.

Though today's energetics contain elements that can cause people to act from their most fearful and insecure selves - in the ugliest of ways - we understand that what is happening is transformation out of darkness into light.  When people behave unkindly, hurtfully, or selfishly, they are operating from fear and a sense of powerlessness.  Attempts to blame others always accompanies this, but it is merely projection  -- a poor coping skill that devolves into power and control issues.  (When Pluto is involved, power issues often come in to play. With Pluto in Capricorn, we add control to the mix.)

The highest objective of the energy is to clear illusions and fears.  As this happens, a rainbow of options opens.  New experiences beckon.  All of this is building toward the next New Moon, the New Moon in Cancer on July 15.  A torrent of opportunities will flood the field of consciousness.  Today, part of the way is being paved.

No matter what the skies us bring today, let's remember to be on the lookout for the rainbow.  Let's watch as new perspectives, opportunities, and destinies arise.  Let's stand reassured.  Here comes the Sun.

The Full Moon continues to provide heightened illumination, and today the spotlight is on redressing, correcting, revising, and reforming the balance of things and the value of things.  What is truly worthy and what is truly unworthy shows clearly.

The Moon will make an exact square (90 degree angle) with Uranus around 4:00 pm ET/8:00 pm ET.  Tumult is indicated within several of the energetics, very likely with high emotionality.  This builds through the day.  Uranus is swift and unpredictable.  Anxiety and fears rise.  Accidents occur, but truly nothing happens by accident with Uranus.  

There is, eventually, a silver lining with anything that happens under Uranus' influence.  My teacher was wise when she taught me that Uranus saves us by our rejections.  I could not see or feel it that way then.  But it is very clear now.  Uranus will put things right, and this is a great blessing.

The blessing, however, is like riding greased lightning.  The best advice is to hold on and let the energy take you where you need to be.  If we endeavor to be the best (fill in your name) we can be, we find the ride easier, even enjoyable perhaps if we are able to let go of the need for control.

It's the job of wise owls to maintain a strong sense of grounding this month.  We walk through the woods of winter frost that some consider bleak.  We know that reinforcement is taking place under the surface.  The force of LIFE is active and vibrant and building strength.  The scene isn't bleak.  Look beyond to what is happening under the veneer. 

We are like the woods, with deep roots into the Earth, and open branches stretching into the Heavens.  The month we are preserving and protecting "Heaven on Earth" -- what we love and value.  We remember and we hold true, no matter the conditions.

A great deal of sensory overload, cognitive dissonance, and fear mongering is being pushed into human consciousness in an attempt to re-imprint an old energetic.

Today, the Black Moon will move to 24 Virgo 00 (25 Virgo) and the Sabian symbol of "a flag at half mast in front of a public building." Again we have energetics around "flags."  This energy will be in effect for the next nine days, so it will be present throughout the Independence Day holiday here in the US.  So people are being stirred up - "triggered" in trauma terminology.  The crumbling control system is trying to trigger a trauma response whether they carry out a traumatic event or not.  The fear of the potential for something is almost as powerful as the emotional response from an actual event.  Our brains are more easily manipulated when fear is involved.

But, several things are also in effect to not counter all of this, but to lift us out of it to a clearer view - a wiser view.  Primary among these is Venus, still in conjunction with the lofty expansion of masterful Jupiter, moves to the degree of the Solstice CME and reactivating the Sabian symbol of  "a bareback rider in a circus displays her dangerous skill."  This was the CME of the M2.6 flare on Saturday, June 20 at 10:34 pm ET/ Sunday, June 21 at 2:34 am UT -- just four hours after Uranus moved to the Eris Point, where it sits now and where it will turn retrograde, flooding the field with revelations of truth, rebellion against power and control dynamics, and rebirth of the true values of life.  You may remember significant things happening in your life at that time.  It was quite a Summer Solstice!

Many people have reported feeling dissociated or spacey during this Gibbous Moon phase.  Gibbous is rather airy and fluid energy by nature.  It has taken over a week for us to fully take on board the solar activations - the light and wisdom - that was sent our way with the Earth directed CMEs last week.  The Solstice CME was one of the ones that morphed with the others to have such a dramatic impact on our psyches.  And we are smarter from it.

The Venus-Jupiter conjunction assists by helping us elevate and assimilate our understanding of the way things are in our lives and in the world right now.  And remember, Neptune is still helping us navigate as the energy of "an aviator in the clouds" continues to fly.

These are the kinds of things that causes renaissance -- true change.

Wise owls are well aware of the types of tricks and hijinks that the old, dying system is fond of employing.  We see beyond the illusions, somersaulting above them like a bareback rider.  We understand that we are in direct connection and direct collaboration with a higher force of love, freedom, and beauty that is restoring the world to balance and sanity.

The music of the spheres erupts with the herald of divine messages today!

The symphony has already started, kicking off with the Moon opposing Mercury, the planet known as The Messenger this morning.  Message begins: open your mind to new opportunities and options.  Break from restrictions.  The future is safe and secure, even it feels foreign now.

The message continues at High Noon ET/4:00 pm UT with the Moon beginning the "triangulation" of direction, guidance, and information as it completes the third angle of a Grand Trine between Venus and Jupiter on one side and Uranus on the other.  Venus and Jupiter will make exact conjunction overnight and into the early hours - 3:33 am ET/7:33 am UT.  Message ends.

That's a lot of astrology.  What it means is messages, information, guidance, and direction are filling the air.  The primary energy in effect today is the Sabian symbol "a carrier pigeon fulfilling its mission."  What is the music of the spheres of the Moon, Venus, Jupiter, and Uranus delivering to you today?

Whatever it is, it is paving the way to refine our recognition of who, what, and where we value.  Today's Venus-Jupiter conjunction foreshadows the upcoming Venus retrograde of July 25 to September 6, 2015.  Venus refines and restores the true values of life when it is retrograde.  It's a good thing.

A beautiful and remarkable thing is beginning in the starry skies and building until Wednesday night.  The planets Venus and Jupiter are moving into the same "place," shining a beacon as they converge at the degree of the Sabian symbol "a carrier pigeon fulfilling its mission."

Clarity about direction, course, senses, intuition, beliefs, information, and assessments is delivered.  The energy that is building provides guidance and information -- special messages that guide.

The energy is "exalted" somewhat since Jupiter is involved.  Jupiter teaches us things that stretch our minds, so whatever is happening now is designed to bring things to a much higher and expanded level. 

Since Venus is the other planet involved, energy is added to what we value and love, taking those things to new levels as well.

This lofty event has a caveat.  The conjunction of Venus and Jupiter makes an astrological aspect with Uranus.  Uranus' goal is always to change, adjust, or align us with what is in our highest and best interests.

We are just beginning to grasp the expanded perception, awareness, and insight that is on tap until the Full Moon and the Venus -Jupiter conjunction overnight Tuesday (exact conjunction of Venus and Jupiter is Wednesday, July 1 at 3:33 am ET/7:33 am UT).  Until then, the magic of the Gibbous Moon phase continues to flow.

The rational mind rebels this weekend and effectively goes on leave.  The increased solar energetics this past week have taken the rational mind to a new limit.  This weekend, the magical mind rises up in balance.  Like ribbons, the feminine energetics of creation and connection fold around the edges and bring about balance.

Rest, relaxation, and fun are the natural tendencies with this weekend's energetics.  But if this is in short supply for you, the best way to compensate is to focus on anything natural that you can find.  There are trees even in concrete jungles.  Birds are always around.  Registering these things relaxes stressed minds.

Several of the Sabian symbols this weekend feature dancing.  Dancing is another things that relaxes stressed minds.  Before the male wise owls freak out, this is accomplished by little happy dances.  Going out "two stepping" is not required.

Any situations that have developed where there is stepping out on people, however, will result in definitive consequences when Venus stations retrograde on July 25.  Venus' retrograde between July 25 and September 6, 2015.

The skill this weekend is to uncomplicated things.  So, since I have been trying to write this report for over two hours, I will take the message, too, and sign off for this week.  As always, find beauty.

Today's energy is arranged to offer us an opening or opportunity while also providing what is needed for the adventure.

This manifests through situations, circumstances, and things that are changing.  When things change, many feelings emerge.  Feelings of grief or loss about the past, fears about security and survival, and deep disappointment can arise.  We wonder what will become of us.

The Sun is located at the degree of the Sabian symbol "gamebirds feathering their nests."  Under this energetic, we make preparations and make things stronger and more comfortable..  We make and take sanctuary.  We prepare for new life.

The Earth is located at "ten logs lie under an archway leading to darker woods."  Nests, woods, and gamebirds, oh my!  But we are well-supplied.  Ten logs can make a lot of torches to light through dark woods.  The key element of the symbol is the archway.  Archways are gateways.  They lead to other places -- other states of mind, other experiences, other adventures.  Usually they lead to "higher" places.  We focus on the archway, not the darkness.

Sunspot 2371 has erupted again.  Early this morning (4:16 am ET/8:16 am UT) an M7.9-class solar flare with Earth-directed coronal mass ejection was released.  The Moon was located at 14 Libra, disseminating the energy of "in the heat of the noon, a man takes a siesta."  This symbol signifies a gaining or gathering of strength to complete something.

But the story of what the Sun (Sabaoth in the Gnostic), the Earth (Sophia in the Gnostic), and the magnetic fields and polarities of the Earth (Thelete in recovered wisdom) are doing is a much bigger story.  It is the story of how humanity, in collaboration with divine forces, frees itself from the bondage over its mind.  More to come on this larger story.

For now, the influx of solar energies is fuel for our brains, expanding our understandings and perceptions.  Intense light brings intense clarity.  Clarity brings wisdom.  Wisdom brings freedom.

The symbol of the man taking a noon siesta tells us to "chill out," adding to the lunar month's theme of "winter frost in the woods."  It is a time for inner stillness and cold determination to persevere.  So as all sorts of intense things happen as the CME fully loads in, we prepare to receive an "upgrade" in brain and processing power.  The best way to handle this is to go with the flow and temper reactions.

With the Moon making opposition with Uranus at 6:20 pm ET/10:20 pm UT this evening, the skills of a wise old owl may be need.  One of those skills is knowing that anything that happens under a Uranus transit is meant to put us on our proper course in life -- the highest and best expression and experience of our souls.  Things happen abruptly (accidents, surprises, events) under dynamic of the Moon and Uranus, naturally triggering reactions.  Take special care when driving today.  Keep a slower or steadier pace in all things.  Take breaks - it will help if you need to be hyper-productive right now.  Meditate.  Turn your face to the Sun if it is shining where you are today.  And if it's not, just look up; it's there beyond the clouds, radiating love.

 A layer in the heaviness of the energy lifts today with the start of the First Quarter Moon phase.  The double-Crescent or "doubly challenging" energetic signatures have ended.  The remainder of the lunar month still carriers the underlying current of Crescent (challenging) energy, but not to the level it was over the past four days.

The planet Chiron stationed retrograde just before 8:30 am ET/12:30 pm today.  Chiron holds the archetypal energy of wounding, healing, and teaching.  It retrogrades today at 22 Pisces and the Sabian symbol that has been in effect since May 21, 2015, "a prophet bringing down the new law from Mt Sinai."  Bringing down the new law is the theme and mission of Chiron's energy until it stations direct at the end of November.  Sands are cleared, spells are broken, illusions are dissolved, and lies are revealed.  It is all leads to where everything else is leading -- rebirth, renaissance -- as Chiron will station direct at the degree of the Sabian symbol of "an Easter promenade."

Obviously, with these energetics, the period of Chiron's retrograde will also affect geopolitical issues of religion and territory.

Chiron is the teacher you hope you get in high school.  Not only does he deliver the greatest teachings, he does so in a way that we can really understand.  He inspires.  One of the many things with which Chiron excels is teaching those who have been wounded by their experiences how to feel better.  He always wants to make us better.  The teachings of Chiron heal the mind, body, and soul, and they ripple through space and time.

Today's energetics do carry old elements of conflict, unrest, uprising, manipulation, mind control, and confusion.  While this is happening, we hold to this month's mission of preserving and protecting the values of life.  Respect, freedom, love, honor, integrity, duty, appreciation, equality, nature, beauty... What else would be on your list of what's worth preserving and protecting.  This is the mindset of a wise owl today.

The Sun released an M6.5-class solar flare with coronal mass ejection yesterday at 2:23 pm ET/6:23 pm UT.  It is Earth-directed.  The Moon was located at 13 Virgo, activating the energy of "a powerful statesman overcomes a state of political hysteria."  The Moon was also making a trine to Pluto at that time, adding massive energy of deep transformation.

The symbol of "a powerful statesman overcomes a state of political hysteria" is the energy to turn things around and bring them into equilibrium.  It rectifies and stabilizes.  The coronal mass ejection is one more step of cosmic intervention to restore and realign with the value of life itself and the rich experiences it brings.

Rich experiences and a certain amount of "inner revival" are present with the Earth located at the degree of "the human soul, in its eagerness for new experience, seeks embodiment."  This energy unbinds us from what we've been previously bound.  A new arena of inner experience opens that eventually leads to some sort of expansion/manifestation in the outer world.

In a resonant way, Mercury will once again begin to disseminate the energy of "newly opened lands offer the pioneer new opportunities for experience."  What do you think?

New experiences result from changes, and thus imply that we move beyond the fear of the unknown.  Pioneers understand this very well.  They understand that within the unknown, the potential for opportunity could be beyond our wildest imagination.  In this way, pioneers are adventurers.

Today is the last day of the Crescent Moon phase, the time of the lunar cycle that challenges us in myriad ways.  It's been an intense four days.  The Moon and the Black Moon will meet in the sky at 11:35 am ET/3:35 pm UT today.  Thoughts and feelings about perceived personal failings may try to creep in.  This just helps us see something important about ourselves.  The Moon will move out of Virgo and out the Crescent phase overnight.  Relief comes as the Sun rises tomorrow.

A fast and intense solar storm is underway with a "full halo" (Earth-facing) coronal mass ejection from an M2.6-class flare.  The coronal mass was ejected Saturday, June 20 at 10:34 pm  ET/ Sunday, June 21 at 2:34 am UT.  The full intensity of the CME arrives today.  Communications may be somewhat disrupted, as the storm may affect satellites and radio transmissions.

The CME occurred when the Moon was located at 22 Leo 45 and the Sabian symbol of 23 Leo: "a bareback rider in a circus displays her dangerous skill."  The symbol images mastery or skill at maneuvering energies and instincts. 

Our instincts, which are intimately tied to our shadow sides, are already on heightened alert today with the Moon moving through Virgo, along with the Black Moon.  The exact meet-up of the Moon and the Black Moon is tomorrow, Tuesday, June 23 around 11:30 am ET/3:30 pm UT. 

When the Moon enters the sign that the Black Moon is in, shadow sides are projected.  Our core fears are triggered.  Right now, those most affected by this are those with the Sun or Black Moon in Virgo or Pisces.

Add into the mix that we are under "double Crescent" energies since we are in the Crescent Moon phase of the second month that is like a month-long Crescent Moon phase.  We are doubly-challenged to preserve and protect what is important and meaningful to us under this energetic.  The Crescent Moon phase is in effect until early Wednesday, requiring exceptional perseverance on our part.

The intense solar storm is amplifying the energetics that are in effect based on the position of the planets today.  Today, the Sun is disseminating the energy of "a man on a magic carpet observes vast vistas below him."  This implies a momentary stop to take in the scene or expand our level of awareness.  We get a better view of the future.  This energy can also disconnect people, places and things, especially disconnect them from reality.  Since it's a "Black Moon Day," Black Moon Fever can become rampant, with people acting from their most fearful side.  We are aware of this potential today.

The Earth is located at the degree of "three stained-glass windows in a Gothic church, one damaged by war."  This energy is usually experienced as a bombardment on love.  Carelessness with feelings often ensues.  In many cases, we feel as if we are under attack by something.  Longtime readers know that this nebulous "something" was identified long ago by the Gnostics, who warned us of the danger of the Archons.

The Gnostics also told us our Sun, the being named Sabaoth, is an ally of humanity and the Earth.  Sabaoth's message with the CME is for us to be like the bareback rider in this circus of reality we find ourselves in and engage our skills of evading danger.  We can somersault over issues and see beyond them.

No matter how far above things we have to catapult, we always land with solid footing on the Earth.  Today we will remember what grounds us when we need to find ground - nature.

The Sun released an M3-class solar flare with coronal mass ejection yesterday at 1:35 pm ET/5:35 pm UT.  The CME is partially Earth-directed and produced a radio blackout.   The Sun remains quite active today.

At the time of the CME, the Moon was located at 24 Cancer and the Sabian symbol of "a woman and two men castaways on a small island in the South Seas."  This is the Sabian symbol of the degree of the next New Moon -- the lunar cycle that begins with the New Moon in Cancer on July 15, 2015. 

The Cancer lunar cycle (the lunar month of July 15 - August 13, 2015) has been highlighted for several months.  Venus and Uranus will station retrograde back to back, and the month is a "cardinal" month or one of the "four corners" or "four directions."  Dramatic shifting occurs during cardinal months.  Uranus will station retrograde at the Eris Point, unleashing a revolution of light that continues the realignment with the value of life, liberty, and freedom from shadows.

With yesterday's CME activating the degree of the New Moon in Cancer, it seems the Sun sent it own highlight (sunlight) of it.

What does the image of the symbol "a woman and two men castaways on a small island of the South Seas" evoke for you?  Initial reactions are key.  How does your interpretation of the symbol relate to your life now?  How does it relate to what you have planned or in place between July 15 and August 13?  Insight into what the Sun is foreshadowing (forelighting) for the next month will spread throughout the weekend, as the electrical effects of the CME fully unfold.  So let's work with understanding the symbol and the message by letting it breathe, age, or mellow over the next few days.  The symbol itself implies that there is not a lot of room since it is a "small" island in the South Seas, so let's give it some space and time.

Keep in mind that we are under energetics this month that are like "winter frost in the woods."  It's a still, reflective time when internal life force builds strength and flows fluidly within the trees of the woods.  The stillness can be maddening if our minds (and identities and realities) are focused outside of ourselves.  There is no place to "go to ground," "root," "anchor," or "attach to" in the crumbling matrix of the old world.  We "ground" ourselves with the planet.  Spending time outside strengthens that connection.

At the start of this lunar month, the Gemini New Moon disseminated energetics for the month.  The positions of the planets at the time of a New Moon determine that month's "music of the spheres."  At the New Moon in Gemini, Jupiter was located at the degree of the Sabian symbol "American Indians perform a ritual to the Sun."  Let's give thanks.

During its transit opposite the Galactic Center yesterday, the Sun released an M1.3-class solar flare with coronal mass ejection at 9:27 pm ET/1:27 am UT.  The Moon was in near-exact opposition with Pluto at that time, located at 15 degrees of Cancer.  The Sabian symbol for this degree is "a group of people who have overeaten and enjoyed it."  The highest octave of this energy speaks of transformation through good fortune, fellowship, and satisfaction.  Spirit provides abundance.

When the Sun transits the Galactic Center, things can feel, on one end, limitless, and on the other end, insurmountable.  Either way, our perceptions open up to wider vision because the Great Void of the Unknown is activated.  This can drive people crazy.  It activates primal fears of survival because we are a traumatized species.  As such, our response to what is actually a process of liberation from power and control systems is askew.  We are responding as if the loss is a bad thing.  It is mass Stockholm Syndrome.

The only loss involved is the loss of that which does not support the sanity of humanity.

Today, the bright light of clarity provides a bridge from one perspective to another.  How about shifting to What are we gaining? 

(Note:  At the time of the CME, the Moon was located at 14 Cancer 34, in near-exact opposition with Pluto at 14 Capricorn 42.  Pluto is at the degree of "in a hospital, the children's ward is filled with toys" - healing through happiness and fun.  There's a toy for each of us if we can recognize it.)

Today, the Sun will travel to make exact opposition with the Galactic Center, the Central Sun of our galaxy.  Exact alignment occurs at 5:19 pm ET/9:19 pm UT.  This angle happens only one day each year. 

The Galactic Center is the hub of our galaxy, and is a place or space or point of limitlessness.  It is a sacred place.  It opens us up, expanding our perception and understanding.  When the Sun comes into this configuration, a massive spiritual energetic is activated.

The vastness of the energy can be daunting, however.  The Sabian symbols describe it perfectly.  The Sun is located at the degree of the Sabian symbol of "a young gypsy emerging from the woods gazes at faraway cities."  We face the Unknown, which seems limitless under this dynamic.  Things can seem insurmountable.  Our programmed experience is that the unknown means something bad will happen.

But we do not know defeat, especially when we know that the highest spiritual frequencies are being disseminated.  The Sabian symbol for the degree of the Galactic Center is "a sculptor's vision is taking form."  Potential lies within the limitless of the unknown.  It lies beyond the fear.

We hold to our vision of the world aligned with goodness, knowing that this vision is taking form.  Our combined effort with spiritual allies makes it so.  We engage our will today, gazing at things that aren't so far away.

The New Moon in Gemini occurs at 10:05 am ET/2:05 pm UT at 26 Gemini and the Sabian symbol of "winter frost in the woods."  This month is about grounding ourselves, reinforcing our roots and structures, building resources and strength, and recognizing and caring for who and what we love. 

The mission this month is to maintain and persevere.  This is the second of two lunar months that are like month-long Crescent Moon phases -- the time when we are challenged to hold tightly to the intentions, hopes, wishes, and dreams that we have for the future.  We move through darkness in order to bring ourselves (and other people, places, and things) into greater light.

Next month is the time when we reach light and burst forth.  The ideals of greatness that we manage to hold on to this month begin expression and manifestation.

This month we hold and reinforce the line.  To do this, we won't rush or push things to move sooner or be better than they are.  We understand that a time of vibrant internal strengthening is happening while externally it appears as though a frosty breath of magic dust has suspended animation.

This month we dig in.  We fortify and reinforce from the inside.  From bottom to top, we extend deep into the Earth and far up into the heavens.  From this stance, we preserve all that is good about life and protect it with all our might.

The eve of the New Moon in Cancer sees Saturn retrograding out of Sagittarius and back into Scorpio.  Saturn begins to re-disseminate the energy of the Sabian symbol of "children in Halloween costumes indulging in various pranks."  The lower level of this frequency is "the trickster."  It tends to reinforce the shadow side and even incite varying levels of madness.  It is also easier to "pull the wool" over people and take something right out from under them.  This energetic is in effect until July 4, 2015.  Here on June 15, that seems like a long time for those who prefer the sanity and peace of life without the attempted power and control over every aspect of one's life and constant mischief.

But the higher level of this frequency sees the level of energy engaged with it.  It is child's play.  It's not an adult's pursuit.  And it will end the way things always do when children are causing trouble -- they will begin to fight with each other and eventually stomp off crying, looking for their mother.

The wisdom of this dynamic is first recognizing that shadow sides and core fears -- fears that incubate in the R-complex or reptilian brain -- are being tempted or tricked into coming out.  The purpose of this is a last-ditch, desperate move to destroy true love, expressions of beauty, freedom, and the respect and value of life.  Knowing this is what is happening, we can hold the line and grow or rise out of the game/trick.  Overriding the instincts of the R-complex of the brain is not an easy thing to do, by any means.  But we can do it.  We can forego the bait when we are tempted to act (react) from fear.  The best way to do this is to:

Become still inside and let things be.  Practice the skill of the wise owl in the tree. 

When we can slow the emotional responses (step out of time, bending it) we can focus on shifting the field toward something more positive or loving.  Be aware that shifting the field under these energetic conditions may only influence your own field at the moment.  But that is enough to hold space and hold things in equilibrium until things resettle into better alignment.

I am devoting much of today's report on this element because it is a main undercurrent of the larger dynamics of the new lunar month, which begins tomorrow.  I will be recording the overview for the new lunar month tonight.

But on this last day of the last phase of the Taurus lunar cycle, the cycle when something inside of us has tried to reawaken, don't be tricked into giving up on it.  We persevere under these energetics.  We release the thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and events that we do not want to carry into the new month.  The deeper we can go with this today the better we are served, starting tomorrow.

Situations, circumstances, and events that developed yesterday continue to churn and be pulled into the fires of the "vortex" that the Sun and Mars have been building all week.  A purification and rectification of things is happening to put things in proper alignment.  Proper alignment is freedom, beauty, nature, the value of life, and the expression of our heart's desire.  "Thy will" is strong with the powerful forces of the Sun and Mars.

What is thy will?  The Sun and Mars are pushing that forward this weekend.

Help with the push comes directly from higher spiritual sources, as the conjunction of the Sun and Mars is in a close line from the Galactic Center.  The exact conjunction of the Sun and Mars occurs Sunday (June 14) at noon ET/4:00 pm UT at 23 Gemini 17 and the Sabian symbol of "children skating on ice" (24 Gemini).  It speaks to seeing changes and adjusting to them.  We watch the terrain. (The Sun and Mars will be 177 degrees from the Galactic Center -- only 3 degrees from exact opposition -- very close.)

A change in dynamics comes Saturday (June 13) at 7:20 pm ET/11:20 pm UT when the Black Moon moves to the 23rd degree of Virgo and the Sabian symbol of "a lion tamer rushes fearlessly into the circus arena."  The higher octave of this energy skillfully and courageously navigates situations and maintains self-control (as a peaceful kitty).  The lower octave is impulsive, reckless, and reactionary (as a fierce beast).  A certain degree of faith is always helpful when we enter new arenas.

Throughout the fiery energetics of this weekend, guidance and assistance from the universe is abundant.  Connect to it through your heart and watch where it takes you.  Opportunities are opening all around.

Today, the Ruler of the Seas, Neptune, stations retrograde, opening a period of time where we transcend obstacles, barriers, and difficulties.  These are old imprints (mindsets, beliefs, limitations, perceptions, dysfunctions) that are lingering from the "old world."  Neptune stations retrograde at 10 Pisces and the Sabian symbol of "an aviator in the clouds."  The dynamic to rise above the crumbling past is in effect through November 18, 2015.

But the seas and skies may be stormy today, as the day a planet stations retrograde or direct tends to be tumultuous.  In order for us to transcend issues, we have to see them.  They have to be pointed out.  We have to recognize the problem.  Neptune is nebulous by nature, and "an aviator in the clouds" does not have the clearest view, but he or she does have instruments for these occasions.  We have the tools that we need to not only see the obstacles or issues but also to take us far above those things.  We can figure it out and keep flying, even when we are uncertain about our course.

It's rather jarring to have planets stationing retrograde and direct back to back.  Mercury stationed direct just yesterday.  Emotional "vertigo" can ensue anytime this happens, but especially when Neptune and Pisces are involved.  Neptune/Pisces does not tolerate harshness well, and the energy tends to pull back into itself when fears are heightened (especially fears about survival).  Fears are hidden away in order to maintain psychological equilibrium.

But the mission of Neptune's retrograde through November is to awaken what has been hidden, isolated, shadowed, lost in an escape, or arrested in development.  Neptune will station direct at the degree of the Sabian symbol "a girl blowing a bugle."  A call from the "music of the spheres" is going out to awaken humanity to the greater reality of the world at large and our individual selves.  The call rallies us to overcome the difficulties we face.  This is in effect between now and November 18.  (More on this and other retrograde cycles in the forthcoming audio recording for the Gemini New Moon.)

Today, we can facilitate the process by opening our minds to other ideas, discoveries, alternatives, and options.  Neptune and Pisces bring a flood of creativity that can be used for anything.  By freeing our minds of previously-held beliefs that are restrictive, we can flow with the currents.  We don't need to dive from truth that is revealed today.  We can face it.  We can adjust to it.  We can feel the effervescence of the waves and let them take us to a new place of perception.

In astrology, when a planet "stations direct" it appears to move forward in the sky after a period of appearing to move backwards.  The planet Mercury stations direct today, and with it, communications, electronics, and travel ease from the mayhem that has surrounded them since May 19. 

Mercury stations direct at the degree of the Sabian symbol of "a radical magazine, asking for action, displays a sensational front page." During the retrograde period (May 19 to yesterday), the energy for reform and breaking free of constraints has been the goal.  The "sensational" nature of this energy may explain why many more people have reported that this particular Mercury retrograde was more intense.  (An expanded explanation would be that technology is morphing to be more of service to humanity - not the other way around - and consciousness is driving things back toward more human-centered interactions.)

Is there any doubt that the notion of reform is front and center?

On this last day of the Third Quarter Moon phase, all things point to revision, realignment, rectification, and reform. 

The Moon will be at the same location in the sky as Uranus at 4:45 pm ET/8:45 pm UT, delivering another strike of energy for revision and realignment, especially to any situations that may have seemed hopeless or seemed to have gone cold.  Jupiter is in effect with this also (Moon and Uranus trine Jupiter), and Jupiter expands everything.  So there is a great deal of energy to revive and revise and all those other "r" words alliterated above, and it is in effect all day.  (Take extra care when driving today and give wide berth.  Accidents abound with all of these energetics.)

A note for consideration:  Reform is produced from new ways of looking at things.  In the fifth dimensional state of consciousness, we can look at things from multiple angles.  When we do this we start to bend time and space.  As time benders, if we were to travel back in time to a time of a great battle, all the while knowing that the battle was already won, would our experience still be one of battle? 

Maybe it would be an honor.  

The wings of wise owls encircle the world and join with higher spiritual forces to resound the harmonic realignment with the value and love of LIFE.  Anything that stands against that crumbles.

The last day of Mercury's retrograde often feels like a hot summer day without wind.  Air is stagnant and nothing moves.

Trying to force or push things forward runs contrary to the energy.  Pushing forward results in frustration and befuddlement.  It's best to detach and let things be.  It seems I write "let it be" a lot nowadays, but we are learning how to "be" smarter, not struggle harder.  This means understanding how to work with the energies, not against them.

Of course, we aren't giving up on things, we just recognize that the "music of the spheres" (the energetics of the planets) is dissonant today.  Mercury winnows things down to basic components.  If those basic components are not in resonance or aligned toward the same things, Mercury attempts to revise or rectify it.  If something was trying to come to light or to be revised during Mercury's retrograde, it's last chance comes today.  Tomorrow, constriction within the fields of consciousness and experience will release, and communications, messages, telecoms, and electronics will "snap" into a better alignment.  They won't snap back into place, where they were; things have changed.  They snap into a different place.  If Mercury retrograded in aspect to a planet in your natal chart (14 Gemini) , tomorrow you will find yourself in a much different situation than you did on May 18.

One thing that this round of Mercury retrograde delivered was increased abilities to communicate with people with our minds.  The Sabian symbol of the degree of Mercury's retrograde is "two people, living far apart, in telepathic communication."  Communication without the use of technology is working its way toward becoming standard.  The energetic connection between like-minded people (and also between people aligned or aligning with their soul family) is surpassing the previously-held limitations of space and time.  Many people are already intuiting and experiencing this.

A preponderance of active and even aggressive energy continues to churn with the Sun and Mars in conjunction this week.  Mars wants to move things forward and the Sun empowers this tendency, so we really want things to move forward but Mercury has things on lock until tomorrow.
