Venus Takes the Lead - Tuesday, July 6, 2021

Hello Wise Owls —

This week, we have Venus basically going over what Captain Mars did last week - but with a Venusian twist.

Today at 10:34 pm ET, Venus at “an old sea captain rocking on the porch of his cottage” will oppose Saturn at “a barometer.” Venus rules relationships, values, comfort, security, pleasure, and love, Saturn rules discipline, order, control, success, responsibility, aspects of health, practicality, and effort.

This cycle of Venus and Saturn began on February 6, 2021, so we now come to the “fullest” part of the cycle. At that time, January 6th and Trump’s second impeachment were the topics, and the three winter “storms” were getting ready to hit Texas.

The Sabian symbol of the Venus-Saturn cycle that began on February 6 was “a masked figure performs ritualistic acts in a mystery play.” We are not shown the true face in a bold performance. This symbol also represents shamanism and archetypes of personality. This is repeated now.

Now Venus is the sea captain, but her sea voyages were not for war, as it was with Mars. She is reflecting on the past and measuring or taking stock of Saturn. The coup was part of Saturn (control). Venus will bring in some type of counter to the control that is happening worldwide.

Whatever Venus does with this energetic with Saturn, it will change on Wednesday when Saturn retrogrades back to “people on a vast staircase graduated upwards.” Venus takes us to new levels to deal with the control issues of Saturn. We take the high road or staircase.

On Wednesday at 4:06 pm ET, Venus will trine Chiron. Money and markets are highlighted.

On Thursday, Venus will trine Uranus at 3:16 pm ET. Uranus reaches 15 Taurus for the first time going around the zodiac at 10:10 pm ET. The symbol is “a man with a rakish (tattered) silk hat muffled against the cold braves a storm.” We will talk more about this Wednesday.

On Tuesday, July 13, Venus will conjunct Mars, beginning a new cycle, at 20 Leo, “American Indians perform a ritual to the Sun.” This is going to change up relationships.

For us individually, Venus opposing Saturn has us recollecting and revisiting the past since February 6. What has come out of order? What has come in to order? To what are we responsible? Did we “fail?” What can we do to access more of our power? Can become more organized or disciplined? What is there to do NOW, as we come into the New Moon in Cancer on Friday and the energy switches?

It is not the time to give up on our dreams that we set out with at the New cycle in April. We only have four days until a broad stroke of the cardinal sign Cancer moves us into BETTER alignment. The shift will be pronounced after enduring or being on pause for two Crescent cycles.

The Sun is in perfect harmony with Venus as it discharges “a group of people who have overeaten and have enjoyed it.” That is a Venusian image! After dinner, Venus steps out on the porch of the cottage to take stock of what was and what is.
